Summarizer
What does this tool do?
Long documents take time to read. This tool uses a large language model to extract the core message and condense it into a summary — short, medium, or long, depending on your needs. It works on articles, emails, reports, transcripts, and any other text you need to digest quickly.
Common use cases
- Articles and blog posts — Get the gist before deciding to read the full piece.
- Long emails — Extract the key asks and action items from verbose threads.
- Research papers — Understand the abstract and main findings without reading everything.
- Meeting transcripts — Turn an hour of conversation into a usable recap.
- Reports and documentation — Quickly grasp structure and conclusions.
Frequently asked questions
Is this tool free?
Yes. The tool runs on Cloudflare Workers AI with a free daily quota. Normal personal use won't hit any limits.
Is my text stored?
No. Your text is processed in memory and discarded. Nothing is stored, logged, or used for training.
What is the maximum input length?
8,000 characters per request. Longer inputs are truncated to the first 8,000 characters. For very long documents, split them into sections and summarize each.
How accurate is the summary?
The model captures the main points reliably. However, summaries can miss nuance, omit important caveats, or misread ambiguous phrasing. For critical decisions, always read the original.
What model do you use?
We use Meta's Llama 3.2 3B model, running on Cloudflare's global edge network. It's fast and capable for summarization tasks.
